About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our Finance Department. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and business operations. You will work closely with our finance team and support daily activities that contribute to the company’s strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the preparation and posting of daily journal entries (cash, accruals, reclasses) with accuracy and timeliness.
Review and validate supporting documentation to ensure proper coding and compliance with accounting standards.
Maintain and enhance fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, transfers, and adjustments.
Support the management of general ledger schedules, including fixed assets and right-of-use (ROU) assets.
Assist in calculating and recording depreciation and lease amortization.
Play an active role in the month-end close process through journal preparation, batch uploads, and reconciliations.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors by providing schedules, analysis, and supporting documentation.
Uphold accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and integrity.
Participate in cross-functional projects, process improvements, and ad-hoc initiatives.
Support account reconciliations and contribute to financial analysis.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Detail-oriented, well-organized, and eager to learn.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
