About the job
Description
Uplight is creating a new category of energy. We make software that manages energy resources in homes and businesses including things like smart thermostats, electric vehicles, solar panels, storage batteries, heat pumps, and even people’s behavior to generate, shift, or save energy to balance the grid, making it more efficient and reliable. This creates clean energy capacity that can be used by the power grid instead of burning more fossil fuels. Our solutions accelerate the transition to clean energy and save money for energy customers.
We are looking for a Senior Analyst to drive our company forward, and help us lead the clean energy revolution! This is a flexible and remote-friendly role based in the United States with occasional travel for team offsites. You’ll join a purpose-driven, collaborative culture where curiosity, ownership, and impact are celebrated.
How You Will Make An Impact
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to enhance the future of our post-sales operations across both Implementation and Account Management. Reporting to the Director of Commercial Operations, this is a high-impact individual contributor role for a dynamic problem-solver who can work in fast-paced environments with senior-executive level visibility. It offers a path to broader operational leadership opportunities as Uplight scales, as you will be a key partner in improving the systems, reporting, and workflows that power client delivery, retention, and margin visibility.
As a Senior Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving business performance by improving the quality, visibility, and scalability of our post-sales operations. You will be an individual contributor responsible for managing critical operational processes across client retention, implementation reporting, and systems administration. The Senior Analyst will collaborate closely with Account Management, Professional Services, Implementation, Finance, Sales, Legal, Product, and Operations to deliver accurate reporting, streamline workflows, and support operational success. Success in this role will be measured by improvements in data integrity, process efficiency, stakeholder satisfaction, and the team’s ability to scale through automation and AI-enabled ways of working.

Serve as Wrike administrator on the Implementation-side to ensure consistency of Implementation and Professional Services projects and data inputs and outputs
Support integrations across Wrike, Salesforce, and Jira to improve process continuity and reduce manual work
Manage the transfer of key data from Wrike to Finance, including revenue timing, time tracking, and related project information
Act as the primary liaison between Finance and Project Management / Implementation leadership to ensure alignment, timely issue resolution, and process improvement
Process Improvement, Automation, and AI Innovation
Partner with post-sales and cross-functional leaders to continuously improve workflows, reduce administrative burden, and strengthen operational rigor

Implement best practices to increase efficiency, improve reporting quality, and create more scalable ways of working across Account Management and Implementation
Actively seek and test opportunities to leverage AI across the organization, including use cases such as project status summarization, client-ready update drafting, sentiment analysis, predictive churn insights, and proactive internal nudges
Help evolve the team’s technology stack beyond manual spreadsheets by improving adoption, integration, optimization, and long-term system design
