About The Internship Program
Our Summer Internship Program offers students hands-on experience working on real projects in the renewable energy industry. Interns are treated as valued team members and gain exposure to day-to-day business operations, cross-functional collaboration, and professional development opportunities. This program is designed to help students apply what they’ve learned in the classroom while building practical skills that support long-term career growth.
Position Overview
The Business Development Intern will focus on data analysis and dashboard creation to support estimating and market analytics. This role is ideal for students interested in analytics, strategy, and data-driven decision-making.
What You’ll Do
Analyze estimating and market data to identify trends
Help build dashboards and reports used by business leaders
Support process improvements and new workstreams
Translate data into insights that support better decision-making
What We’re Looking For
Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excel required; Power BI, Tableau, or SQL experience preferred

Work Location
This is an onsite internship based at Strata Clean Energy’s Durham Headquarters, providing interns with direct access to team members, leaders, and collaborative learning opportunities.
