Position Summary
The Summer Data Analytics Intern will support the Corporate Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) in advancing data‑driven decision‑making across solar and battery storage initiatives. This role will contribute to project management support, project performance analytics, engineering data analysis, and operational insights that help guide major renewable energy programs.

Ideal candidates are students pursuing degrees in Computer Science or Industrial Engineering with an interest in renewable energy systems, project analytics, and enterprise‑level operations.

As the Summer Data Analytics Intern you will:

Data & Portfolio Analytics Support
Collect, validate, and analyze project, engineering, and financial data across solar PV and battery energy storage programs.
Develop project plans, dashboards, and analytics for EPMO portfolio reporting.
Assist with risk, schedule, and financial analytics to identify trends across major capital and development projects.
Partner with engineering and IT leads to translate technical information into analytics usable by the different business verticals.
Support root‑cause analysis and investigations

Process Improvement & Project Governance
Contribute to the improvement of EPMO standards, templates, and reporting frameworks.
Analyze workflow and process data to identify opportunities to streamline project delivery.
Assist in documenting policies, procedures, and best practices related to project governance and data reporting.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Work with project managers, engineers, operations teams, finance, and leadership to gather requirements.
Participate in project meetings, standups, and EPMO governance sessions.
Present findings and analytical insights to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Our ideal candidate will have:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Industrial and Systems Engineering
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Experience with data visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
Working knowledge of Excel for data analysis.
Strong communication skills and ability to summarize complex topics clearly.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of project management concepts, PMO/EPMO environments, or project reporting practices.
Experience with dashboards that support KPIs, risk metrics, or portfolio analytics.
Exposure to SCADA, telemetry, or IoT sensor data.
Understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, performance ratios, irradiance, and electrical fundamentals.
