Job Description

Doral is seeking an FP&A Associate to join our growing team. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this role will support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across Doral’s corporate operations and renewable energy portfolio. The FP&A Associate will analyze corporate, development, and construction spending, track performance against budget, support revenue and expense forecasting, and develop financial models to inform business decisions. The role will partner closely with Accounting, Finance, Treasury, Development, and Project Management to support accurate reporting and provide insights into financial and operational performance.

Responsibilities

Assist the FP&A Manager with monthly reporting, including reviewing revenues and expenses for accuracy and completeness.
Analyze and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports that track performance against budget and forecast.
Prepare presentations for senior management covering corporate and project-level financial performance and profitability.
Identify, analyze, and explain key financial and operational variances.
Assist with monthly reporting for operating projects, including reporting to internal stakeholders and external parties such as tax equity investors, lenders, and minority equity partners.
Support the annual budget process by partnering with Development, Prospecting, and colleagues across the Company to develop an accurate and complete budget.
Assist in preparing budget presentations for senior management and the Board of Directors.
Partner with Treasury, Finance, and Project Management to support complete and accurate monthly forecasts for projects under construction.
Develop and maintain financial models and analyses to support planning and business decision-making.
Perform ad hoc financial analyses and support other FP&A initiatives as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
1–3 years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, financial analysis, or a related role preferred.
Strong understanding of fundamental accounting and finance concepts.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial models, PivotTables, lookup functions, and large datasets.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial information and identify meaningful trends and variances.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate financial information clearly to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud or a similar ERP/financial reporting system preferred.
Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or project development preferred.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
