Position Summary:
Assists Project Manager on large, complex projects by directly managing and leading specified project management tasks; this may include but is not limited to procurement, subcontract management, self-perform execution, scheduling, submittals, RFIs, project closeout and permitting.
Ensures an exceptional client experience by understanding the client values and aligning project activities.
Works with Construction Managers to gain field experience managing schedule, subcontractors, safety, quality, commissioning, and problem solving.

The Associate Project Manager (APM) position assists the Project Manager and project team members in the successful completion of a construction project. This includes supporting the Project Manager (PM) in all duties and assisting the project team through the decision, planning, and execution phases with the aim of creating value for our clients. APMs are “Leaders in Training,” on an individual career path leading to the position of Project Manager. Developmental responsibilities will be assigned by the Project Manager based on individual strengths, abilities, and development areas.
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related area

Actively partners with the PM to prioritize safety, quality, stewardship, leadership visibility and communication.
Serves as a mentor to and first line in the help chain for Project and Field Engineers.
