Position Specific Description

The Structuring team assists in the development, structuring, and execution of renewable energy projects. This role demands a highly analytical individual with experience in renewable energy, finance, and energy markets. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive the strategic origination and development of projects.

Responsibilities

Support the structuring and negotiation of power purchase agreements (PPAs), financing agreements, and other project-related contracts.
Assist in conducting financial analysis, modeling, and risk assessment.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities and trends within the renewable energy sector.
Prepare and present detailed reports, proposals, and recommendations to senior management.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies.

Ideal Qualifications

Master’s degree or MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Renewable Energy, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in renewable energy, finance, or energy markets.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
Understanding of regulatory requirements and market dynamics within the renewable energy sector.
Experience with energy storage solutions and technologies.
Certification or training in project management

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Creates economic models and performs financial analysis to support the development and evaluation of complex transactions and deal structures
Serves as a problem-solver with a risk management mentality by identifying the needs of counterparties and devising innovative ways to meet those needs
Supports the origination team by providing time-critical analysis for new, incremental, and existing business opportunities
Collects, analyzes, and presents data to communicate complex concepts in conversations and presentations with senior management, external client organizations, and project partners
Manages multiple projects and coordinates work efforts with other team members, facilitating cooperation amongst cross-functional teams that reach across business units
Presents deal to senior leadership, seeking approval of the proposed deal structure
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
